Hey everyone,
Last week, it was a great time chasing the sunset with our funky cameras! Here are a few snaps from our walk!
For tomorrow’s meeting, we will be doing a professional headshot workshop! We will be checking out equipment from the VisCom checkout room, learning how to set up the equipment, and discussing how to price headshots. Everyone that comes will get an updated headshot, so come prepared for that! We felt that this is an important skill to learn, as many of us have been approached to do headshots for various people and groups. We will be setting everything up in RTV 462!
Above is our featured photo for the week, photographed and submitted by our treasurer, Ryan Grzybowski. Submit your images here to be featured in next week’s newsletter and on our Instagram. The images should include captions, a filename with your first and last name, and be made in line with the NPPA Code of Ethics that we always hold ourselves to as a professional organization.
For next week’s meeting, March 1, we will be attending virtually The Kalish workshop presentation about the “Authentication of digital visual content in the age of misinformation” a presentation about AI. This will be taking place during out regular meeting time, so we have registered to watch the presentation and will be streaming it in RTV 462. Please join us for this very important discussion!
