NPPAOU Newsletter: March 28, 2023
Join us Wednesday, March 29, at 6 p.m. for a Cherry Blossom photo walk
Hi everyone,
It was great spending time with you during Krisanne Johnson’s visit to campus last week, we hope you all feel inspired and more connected to one another! Here are a few images from the Friday workshop below:
At tomorrow’s meeting on Wednesday, March 29, at 6 p.m., we will be meeting in RTV 462/464 for a few announcements, then we will be enjoying a photo walk to the Cherry Blossoms together, so be sure to bring your camera (and even a flash too if you want to try some new techniques).
Please be sure to attend tomorrow’s meeting, as we will be announcing the opening of elections for next school year’s NPPAOU Executive Board. During next week’s meeting, on Wednesday, April 5, we will host elections for the executive board which includes president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. Here is a Google document we made last year that details what each role entails.
If you’re interested in running for any of these positions or want to learn more about how the executive board works and the benefits of running, tomorrow is your chance!
ICYMI: We have extended the submission deadline for our third annual NPPAOU Magazine to THIS FRIDAY, March 31st. Submit via this link & check out our magazines from the past two years here!
Below is the cover of last year’s magazine which featured a wraparound image by former NPPAOU president, Erin Burk:
As always, please submit your images here to be featured in next week’s newsletter and on our Instagram. The images should include captions, a filename with your first and last name, and align with the NPPA Code of Ethics we always hold ourselves to as a professional organization. The images we’ll make during tomorrow’s photo walk, as well as personal or project images would be perfect for this. We’re excited to see and share your work!
